The amount of your refund is based on how far in advance from the start date of the trip you notify us of your cancellation.

• More than 120 days prior: 100% of the Experience fee is refundable.
• 120-91 days prior: 100% of the fee is refundable minus your deposit.
• 90-45 days prior: 50% of the fee is refundable.
• Less than 45 days: the fee is non-refundable.

It just takes a $395 USD deposit per person to book an Experience. 50% of the fee is due 30 days after booking. The remainder of the fee is due 100 days before the departure of your trip. If the Experience starts in less than 100 days, then the balance is due within 10 days.

The Good Life Abroad provides a blanket insurance policy that covers you during your experience with us. We refer to this as the “Base Plan”, and details can be found here.

In addition to the Base Plan, for an additional price you may purchase the “Voluntary Plan”. This provides additional benefits and the option to buy Cancel For Any Reason insurance, and an option for a Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion waiver. Details and pricing can be found here.
